Women's Rugby is currently being organised in Buccaneers RFC and, presently, coaching and training takes place at Dubarry Park, Athlone, on Wednesday nights. Lorna Stuart-Trainor is making huge efforts to realise the dream of a Women’s team in the club and she may be contacted at 086-8794465. Intending players need not have any playing experience but players must be aged 16 or over.

Weekend Fixtures
BUCCANEERS face their stiffest test to date when they take on Cork Constitution at Dubarry Park, Athlone, on Saturday, kick off 2.30 p.m. This is the match of the day in the South-West Conference U-20 League, Division One, as Buccs bid to extend their super winning streak to this season’s campaign.
The Senior and Reserves have no fixtures this weekend but the Thirds home game against Galwegians, which fell victim to a water-logged pitch last weekend, may be rescheduled for Sunday afternoon.
